California diesel idling limit spurs energy firm's plans for new battery

PEORIA - Firefly Energy Inc. is expanding into the trucking market.

The Peoria-based high-tech battery company expects to have the Firefly Group 31 battery geared for the trucking industry available next summer with full production scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2008.
