At the 2010 Mid America Truck Show Webasto Product North America announced their latest idle-reduction product, the BlueCool Hybrid APU. This unit will cool a truck cab for up to 10 hours without using any fuel or creating any emissions and it can also be used in shore power mode where it can create cooler temperatures indefinitely with electricity while offering a hotel load to other items inside the cab.
